We all have heard about Yu also know as Project Caesar from Micromax, which is the largest phone maker in the Indian market. It launched its first device, the Yureka a while back which came with a decent midrange specs, very low price, and CyanogenMod OS. And all this was like and appreciated by the public.
But with all this also came the mockery, where Yu teased Mi or Xiaomi. Yu is not hiding back its intention of targeting Xiaomi phones.
Well, the image used by Yu not only just teases Xiaomi but also shows the specs for the next Yu smartphone which would have a 64-bit chipset and will pack a 2GB of RAM with 16GB of storage. There are good specs keeping in mind that it will be a low cost phone like its predecessor.
Yu is comparing the specs of its new phone with what we are hearing rumors about the next device from Xiaomi. This is just the continuation of the mockery that Yu did with saying Chinese company’s low-end handsets are still running Android 4.4 KitKat, whereas the upcoming Caesar will have Android Lollipop on board from day one.
But all this also gives us the idea that the new Caesar device will come soon or is around the corner. Some rumors have claimed that YU’s Project Caesar will arrive in April and will be priced at INR 6,500, which is about $104 or €95.
