Yesterday, Sundar Pichai taking stage at Google For India in New Delhi told that Youtube is going to offer background downloading service and buffering while the video is paused.
As per the research it is revealed that Indians are fond of watching videos on YouTube despite of slow speeds. To tackle the situation Sundar has revealed that YouTube will soon get background downloading service in India.
Next big thing for Indians is the pause buffering. The tweak means that a video will continue to fully buffer even if the viewer hits pause. There will be a notification when the video get 100% buffered.
Right now, there’s no news about when the update will rollout. We expect the update of Youtube App will be out only for India or regions where there are patchy networks.
