Xiaomi is about to launch its all-new Xiaomi Redmi S2 device and even before its official launch, some exclusive leaks are available on the internet about an unknown device. This unknown device obviously belongs to Xiaomi but as revealed by Geekbench listings its specifications are a little distinct and indigestible at the same time. We know that you are as curious as we are to know more about it, the official name of the device is not yet disclosed.
A Geekbench listing has just appeared and it shows the results of a Xiaomi device which is here termed as the Valentino. To be true we are not yet sure that whether it is really in development or someone has just messed the details about it. As revealed by the listing it comes powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 638(64 bit) Octa-Core processor coupled with enormous 6GB of RAM. We have heard the name of this chipset for the first time, if it is true then it may be the refined version of the existing Snapdragon 636 found in the Redmi Note 5 Pro.
The SoC has scored 1485 in Single-Core whereas its Multi-Core score is 5440. Altogether the scores it has earned are reputable and are somewhat comparable to the Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820-series. Xiaomi Valentino runs on Android 8.1 Oreo which confirms that it may run the latest Xiaomi MIUI 9 out of the box. Xiaomi hasn’t said anything about the device yet, however, we are expecting it to appear after the official announcement of Xiaomi Mi A2 and Redmi S2. For now, no other information is there, stay tuned to GoAndroid for more interesting Tech inside stories.
