Xiaomi, the Apple of China is all set to bump up its offline presence in India for the first time. The move doesn’t come as a surprise as the company has been aggressively pushing to solidify its presence on Indian soil, especially offline, as a leading smartphone manufacturer.
The Mi Home Store will sell all the usual products like Power Banks, Headphones, Mi Band, Mi Air Purifier and probably smartphones.
Reports state that the first Mi Home Store as it is called will be opened in Bengaluru on May 11. It seems they are following on the lines of OnePlus which have launched offline experience store in Bangaluru. Other major cities are also going to get the retail outlets later in the future. Xiaomi India head, Manu Jain will do the honors of the inauguration. The company already has offline stores in China, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.
