Merely a day ago, Xiaomi has confirmed the launch date of Redmi 6 Pro as on coming 25th June. The device would mark the next installment from Redmi Series following the recently announced Redmi 6 and Redmi 6A. Also, it could be the first Redmi product to flaunt a “notched” display. Now, through its weibo handle, the Chinese firm has teased the color options of the device that will be available for the customers to choose from.
The Redmi 6 Pro during the launch will be available in total of 5 different color variants. The different shades of the device will be marketed as: Rose Gold, Sand Gold, Lake Blue, Black and Flame Red. Confirming the rumors, the device in deed bears a notch on the forehead. On the backside of the unibody device, vertically alligned dual-cameras are situated at top-side portion.
In design aspects, if we keep the notch aside, the Redmi 6 Pro is more or less similar to the Redmi Note 5 Pro. Also, the device will be a mid-ranger likely powered by Xiaomi’s most preferred SoC and one seen most recently on Redmi S2/Y2 – the Qualcomm Snapdaragon 625.
Moreover, the Redmi 6 Pro is expected to come with a massive 4000mAH battery. The phonw will runs on MiUI 10 based on Android Oreo 8.1 out of the box. Hence, we can expect the device to have some fine AI tricks up its sleaves, not just confined to the AI portrait.
