Well, here’s an interesting fact or analysis from Xiaomi. As per the Hugo Barra, Vice President of International for Xiaomi in Beijing, Xiaomi has sold over 110 Million Redmi Phone. Also the pace of selling was 1.2 devices per every second.
Xiaomi launched its first Redmi phone in August 2013, and now its 110 Million sets of different versions have been delivered. Hugo further stated in another tweet that majority of the Redmi users are aged between 22 to 29 years.
Barra did not offer region-wise breakdown of sales, but did mention during the launch of the Mi Max in India that the Redmi Note 3 sold over 1 million units in the country in just six months.
