Xioami is growing better than before because of their cost-efficient value for money products. According to reports, they are India’s leading smartphone brand in the last three quarters. Also, the company has recently filed an IPO worth $100 Billion which clearly shows how successful they are. And they keep on launching new smartphones every month which never happened in previous years. The next phone from the company will be Redmi S2 which has already leaked. And now teaser says it might be launched on May 10.
Though the teaser says nothing except for the word ‘Surprise’ with S being highlighted, it is expected that Redmi S2 will be launched. However, there are speculations that Xiaomi might announce their second generation Surge SoC. Anyways, we will know it on May 10.
Based on the leaked specifications of the Redmi S2, it will be a budget smartphone with 18:9 display and dual camera setup. According to leaks, it will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 with either 2GB/3GB/4GB RAM and 16GB/32GB/64GB ROM respectively. It will sport a 5.99 inches HD+ display on the front with a 16MP selfie camera above it. The rear dual camera setup will feature 12MP and 5MP sensors. The phone will run on MIUI 9 based on Android Oreo out of the box and will be backed by a 3,080 mAh battery.
