After launching the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 devices in China in January, the Chinese company has made its way to India. They have launched both the new devices Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 7 Pro in India at a starting price of INR 9,999 and INR 12,999 respectively. Particularly, talking about Redmi Note 7, it carries Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 Chipset with octa-core processor having clocking speed of upto 2.2 GHz. Further, there’s a 6.3-inch FHD+ Dot Notch display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It has a maximum brightness of upto 450 nits and a contrast ratio of 15000:1. The bezels are quite thin at 1.95 mm.
In-camera section, Redmi Note 7 carries dual rear camera featuring 12 megapixels + 2 MP AI dual rear camera. It supports PDAF, Super Night Mode, EIS, Portrait Mode, AI Scene Recognition, and HDR. On the front side, there’s a 12 megapixel AI camera for beautiful selfies and video calling. The phone comes in two different storage options such as 4/6GB RAMn and packing 32/64GB internal storage.
The device comes with a Dual 4G VoLTE, GPS, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, 3.5 mm headphone jack, and USB Type-C. The phone packs 4000 mAh battery with the Quick Charge 4.0 charging technology. Unlike other manufacturers, Xiaomi has added 3.5mm headphone jack.
It will be available in three different color options of Onyx Black, Ruby Red, and Sapphire Blue.
The newly launched device will be available in India for INR 9,999 (3+32GB) variant and INR 11,999 for (4GB+62GB) internal storage variant. The models will be available for purchase in India from 6th March, exclusively through online marketplace Flipkart and Mi.com.
Xiaomi will offer “ultra-slim” case worth RS 349 will come along with the new device. Further, Airtel will be offering up to 1,120GB with unlimited calling, as well as Airtel Thanks benefits.
