Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A Prime, carrying model Number MDG6S is now certified by FCC. The regulatory commission of U.S, approves the device eligible for operating in all member states of EU. Which means, the Redmi Note 5A Prime should be the Global variant of China exclusive Note 5A launched by Xiaomi on this August.
Courtesy to the FCC’s database, various external images and User Manual of the Note 5A Prime is now available. Especially, the device metrics are clearly furnished in the images.
The Redmi Note 5A Prime, as seen in FCC images measures over 15cm in length. Apparently, we could believe the device to flaunt a 5.5 inch LCD display. A 3.5mm audio jack and an IR blaster is positioned at the top part. As usual, a Fingerprint sensor houses on the back and an LED coupled single camera is present at the top-left corner. Unlike recent rumors that suggested a possible dual-camera setup.
In addition, the upper and lower antenna bands are present on the back panel similar to recent Redmi smartphones. In flow with the current trend, the body of the phone ought to be made of metal. Moving onto the bottom part of device, a microUSB port placed between a pair of external speakers are carved over there.
We found a little interesting thing in the preliminary User Manual of the Note 5A Prime published on FCC. It seems, the device will feature a decent hybrid Sim-Slot, that can occupy two nano sim card as well as a MicroSD card simultaneously. Implies, you need not compromise a sim for the sake of inserting an external SD Card.
Unfortunately, currently we don’t have a rough idea of the launch date of Note 5A Prime. Since, the device has passed one of the main tests, perhaps its launch is over the horizon.
