Xiaomi has launched yet another budget Redmi device. The company along with the Redmi Y3 launches the Redmi 7 device today. Redmi 7 is a budget device sporting dual cameras, a gorgeous design and a 4000 mAh battery, all that for a price tag of just Rs 7,999 ( $114).
Xiaomi Redmi 7 comes with attractive gradient designs packed in a polycarbonate chassis. The device is featuring a 6.26-inch IPS LCD with waterdrop notch and an HD+ resolution of 1520 x 720 pixels. The display used in Redmi 7 is TUV Rheinland certified, Which means the blue rays emitted from display won’t harm your eyes as much. Redmi 7 also comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection which is amazing at this price point.
Under the hood, Redmi 7 runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 SOC paired with a 3GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. The device is running on Android Pie powered MIUI 10 os.
Coming to the shooting capabilities of the device, the Redmi 7 sports a dual-camera setup on the rear with a 12 MP primary sensor and 2 MP depth sensor.  On the front, we have an 8-megapixel selfie shooter. The camera software is loaded with cool features like AI Portrait, AI scene detection, Auto HDR, beauty mode, etc. We also get a Dual-tone led flash on the back. On the security aspect, we get a rear mounted iconic fingerprint sensor with support for Face unlock as well.

Redmi 7 will be making a debut in India with two variants. The 2GB RAM + 32GB storage model and the 3GB + 32GB storage model. The 2GB RAM model will be available from Rs 7,999 while the 3GB RAM model will go on sale for Rs 8,999. The sale for Redmi 7 will kick off from 12 PM April 29th. It will be available on various channels such as Amazon India, Mi.com and Mi store.
