Xiaomi has started to rollout the Android 7.1 Nougat update in India to Redmi 4. Many users has started to receiving it Over the Air and it weighs around 1.3 GB. It was long awaited by the users of the Redmi 4 and finally it had arrived. Xiaomi started seeding out the update before the annocuned date of the November 2. Well, it’s always better before than after.
Xiaomi Redmi 4 is receiving the update as MIUI version 8.5.4.0.NAMMIED. The MIUI 8.5.4.0 comes with September security patch and updates Redmi 4 to Android version 7.1.2 N2G47H.
Along with the new Android version update, Xiaomi Redmi 4 also brings some other changes. As per the official changelog, it has fixed the screen auto brightness feature. Further, issue of sudden pause of music while playing has also been fixed.
Currently it is rolling out to only few users, and in coming days, the update will arrive for all devices. Little amount of users, who have received the update can also send the feedback to Xiaomi if there’s any issue with the update.
