Some days ago, we read about Xiaomi preparing to roll out the MIUI 6 update for the Mi-2 and the Mi-2S. That day is finally here as the Chinese smartphone manufacturing company has officially unveiled the MIUI 6. The firmware update brings more color to your existent UI and also promises to make your smartphone more secure.
The firmware update is not yet released and is still in its testing mode but should be out soon and made available for the users to download.
Going by what Xiaomi claims, the UI has been made very much simpler with the distractions being kept to a minimum. The added colors might make it appear more complicated but if Xiaomi is to be believed, one does not have to make oneself familiar with it to be using it flawlessly and any first time user will not face any problems using it. Some people are also arguing that the MIUI 6 takes hints at its design from Apple’s iOS 7 and iOS 8.
