It’s official! we are going to have a real party at the Mi MIX 2 launch ceremony. That’s because Xiaomi will not only reveal the sleek Mi MIX 2 but also another of its all out flagship, the Mi Note 3. The reason we are being so excited is that the Mi Note 2 was a real badass device itself closely resembling the Galaxy Note 7. And we are sure, Xiaomi will have a bag of surprises this year too.
So, the confirmation comes from Lin Bin, Xiaomi President, on Weibo. Now he didn’t say it in today’s post but he clearly said it in an earlier post that both the mean machines will be unveiled on September 11. Lin Bin hinted that the phone will be a larger Mi 6 and also shared a teaser. The teaser explicitly states that we should see a curved screen and a glass sandwiched body. We can expect the Mi Note 3 to be anywhere around 5.5-inches just like the Mi Note 2. The handset should definitely come with the Snapdragon 835. And since this is a bigger Mi 6, similar hardware will follow. However, we can expect more RAM or storage variants.
The teaser is graced by Wu Yifan, Xiaomi’s brand ambassador for the Mi 5X. The question that is tearing us apart right now is simple. Will this be coming to India or other Asian countries? We bet you must be thinking the same.
