Tomorrow is the big day as Xiaomi is all ready to announce two of the hottest handsets under its belt. One of them will be the Xiaomi Mi Note 3. Just a day ahead, one of the Chinese tipsters has got hold of the retail packaging of the Mi Note 3. Now, contrary to the Mi MIX 2, this handset has largely remained in the dark. There have been a few leaks here and there, but nothing close to the Mi MIX 2 flood of leaks.
Now, the retail box reveals some interesting specs of the phone. Contrary to popular assumption, Xiaomi is set to endow the high-end Mi Note 3 with a new mid-range SoC. The Snapdragon 660 SoC can be easily seen written on the back of the box along with a dual camera setup. Although, we don’t know what kind of sensors we will be playing with in the new device. The front selfie sensor is numbered 16 MP and other vital specs are 6 GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
Xiaomi President, Lin Bin has made it know very well that the Mi Note 3 will be a bigger Mi 6. So, we expect the Mi Note 3 to be a bit bigger than the 5.15-inch Mi 6. Also, the phone will have a curved display and probably shrunken bezels.
The back of the box also tells us the phone will have USB Type-C without 3.5mm headphone jack. Also, the phone is expected to have an exquisite glass finish like this year’s Galaxy S8. Either way, we just have one more day before the big reveal. So, get ready to be blown away.
