Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 official: List of top 10 features

As we all know, after several teasers and rumours, Xiaomi has finally announced Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 at an event in Beijing. Xiaomi has brought the new Mi Mix 3 with various advanced yet useful features at the Forbidden City launch event. Today, in the noon, Xiaomi officially announced Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 with Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 and notch-less and bezel-less display.

Xiaomi is among few manufacturers which give 10GB RAM smartphones. Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 is available in four different variants i.e 6GB RAM+ 128 GB storage, 8GB RAM + 128GB storage, 8GB RAM + 256 GB storage and the last is the special edition with 10 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. It carries quad camera units on the device, with two on the front and two on the rear side.

Slider Design

Xiaom Mi Mix 3 is the first Android device to carry a sliding design. Xiaomi has touted it a lot in the teasers before launch. Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 slider helps users to get a 93.7% body-to-screen ratio. It also gave a new space for its dual cameras and all other smart sensors. It made Mi Mix 3 smarter.

First 5G ready device

Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 5G variant is not yet revealed, but Xiaomi has that it will arrive in Q1 2019. So, it will be among one of the first devices to get the 5G readiness among Android devices.

Cameras with DxO Mark 103 score

There are several aspects that a rating firm test before giving an actual count, similarly, DxO mark have tested it camera entirely and has given 103 points as like of Galaxy Note 9.

Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 packs a dual 24 megapixel + 2-megapixel camera setup. The primary sensor has a 12 megapixel + 12-megapixel sensor with different aperture and pixel size. It brings features like optical zoom, 4 axis OIS, AI and portrait mode. It can shoot excellent photos in the low light.

Full View Display 

It brings a full view of 6.3 inch AMOLED display having an aspect ratio of 19..5:9. It can produce a brightness of upto 100 Nitss with 103.8 per cent colour NTSC gamut. It has a full HD+ resolution with a screen-to-body ratio of 93.4 per cent. There’s a no notch to hinder your full-screen display.

Slider gestures

The new Mi Mix 3 slider doesn’t only bring a design change it brings some useful features also. A user can assign slider functions such as accessing dual selfie camera, answer calls, launch an app, etc.

AI-based features

There are plenty of Ai features in its camera, battery optimisation, charging, profile switching, etc. Xiomai’snewest UI has allowed the Xiaomi smartphones to get the maximum use of AI-based features. It helps users to save battery with Adaptive battery saving techniques, it brings AI beautify and scene recognition and much more functions.

Fast Charging with 10 W wireless charging

In today’s world, everyone is in hurry, no one wants to wait for 1-2 hours to charge up his/her device. So, Xiaomi has added support for Quick Charge 4+ support with 10W wireless charging.

Old Pricing

The new Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 is available at the same starting price of 3299 Yuan (~$475). Xiaomi 8GB RAM + 128 GB variant is available for the pricing of 3599 Yuan  (~$518), while 8GB/256 GB is available for 3999 Yuan (~$575). There’s also a 10 GB RAM special edition with 256 GB RAM available for 4999 Yuan (~$719).
