From the time, Google has announced the all-new Android Pie, almost all major manufacturers are busy in the development of software for their devices. The brands like Essential, Google, Sony were the first to introduce this on their device. Some Chinese brand like OnePlus has also started pushing Android P beta for their devices and now it’s time for Xiaomi. Mi MIX 2S has just received the latest Android P OTA update, so without making any delay let’s know more about it.
This update has been rolled out to the users who were already on the MIUI 10 Beta update. This update comes with the version MIUI 10 8.9.7 development version and is based on the fresh Android 9 Pie. A number of users have reported about this update though no major changes can be seen after its installation.
The User Interface seems identical, however, as per users the device has become a lot smoother. Even, there’s a significant increase in the performance as update brings some hardware tweaks. Also, results in an Antutu Score has increased to 276000 compared to the 260000.

There were several bugs in the old MIUI 10 Beta update but Xiaomi has not mentioned anything about improvements in the changelog of new software. One can easily experience this as it is been available from 5th September to download. Xiaomi will gonna make this update official soon with a better overall UI experience and smooth animations.
