Xiaomi has just announced that their latest bezel-less wonder, the Mi MIX 2 will be introduced in India on October 10. Both Manu Kumar Jain (VP of Xiaomi India), and Xiaomi tweeted the official event which will be held in New Delhi. This event will mark the entry of a top Xiaomi phone to the Indian shores after a considerable absence. The last time we saw a premium phone was with the Mi5 launch, which was earlier last year.

Xiaomi might have been tempted by the Indian market this time because of the bezel-less fad wooing buyers this year everywhere. The Mi MIX 2 is the best candidate for a bezel-less phone on a budget. The pricing of the phone is also in the OnePlus 5 killer territory. The low end model with 6 GB + 64 GB costs CNY 3299 ( Rs 32,500 approx.) in China. It remains to be seen how many variants Xiaomi decides to launch in India and whether we will see the ceramic version too.
Regardless, we really did want Xiaomi to launch the Mi MIX 2 here, and it would have been dumb not to launch it since the last year’s model received props for the new design.
