A short time ago Xiaomi has launched its latest member in the Fitness segment known as the Mi Band 3. The event was arranged in China and the band was officially made available in three colors including Orange, Black, and Blue. Not much has been changed with this Band 3 and in case you don’t know it is not yet available in countries other than China. Today some new details are there according to which a new variant of this Mi Band 3 is in development. So let’s explore more about it.
In the above-posted images not much is visible, however, the translucent band straps can be noticed at first sight. We have witnessed this type of design for the first time as Xiaomi hasn’t experimented anything similar with their previous Mi Bands. This new variant is termed as the “Explorer Edition” and generally we don’t see explorer edition of additional accessories other smartphones from Xiaomi. Recently we have seen Xiaomi Mi 8 Explorer Edition and this is probably the first Fitness accessory to come under Explorer Edition.
This Explorer Edition of Mi Band 3 looks quite appealing but at the same time, we have a bad news too. This translucent color variant of the Band will not be made available to general public. This special edition will be distributed among the Mi Fans through a lucky draw program. No more information is available on the web about it.
