Xiaomi Mi A3 has recently started receiving July security patch in some parts of Europe. The European users of Mi A3 were eagerly waiting to get this update for quite some time after Xiaomi went wrong rolling out the global update earlier this month. Xiaomi messed up rolling out the update specifically meant for Mexican variants to the Global devices and had to ask users not to install the update until further notice. Just a few days ago, the company pushed another update rectifying the issue for Mi A3 Global units that came with firmware version V.11.0.19.0.QFQMIXM.

Xiaomi did not want European users to wait further and has now started pushing an update with version V11.0.5.0.QFQEUXM. It is a usual security update that specifically addresses bugs and vulnerabilities to enhance your device security and does not bring any new features.
The OTA update will be pushed in different batches and may take some time reaching all the users based on their location and carrier. If you don’t receive a notification for the update in next few days, you may need to manually check for the update by navigating to Settings > Software Update > Check for the Update.
