Xiaomi seems to be hard at work rolling out the MIUI 12 update to the eligible devices. The company has already rolled out the major update to Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro 5G, Mi 9, Redmi K20/Mi 9T, Redmi K30 Pro Zoom and Mi 10 Lite Zoom. The latest entrant to receive this update is Xiaomi Mi 9 Transparent/Explorer Edition which is officially sold in China only.

The stable MIUI 12 firmware update will roll out over-the-air (OTA) in several phases for Mi 9 Transparent/Explorer Edition. The update comes with build number 12.0.2.0.QFACNXM and is quite a sizeable weighing approx. 921MB in size. MIUI 12 update brings in several improvements/enhancements offering a better overall experience. The major changes include improved design and animations, multitasking, updated app drawer, new 3D wallpapers, ultra battery saver, dark mode, better control over permissions and much more.
Since the OTA update rolls out in different phases, you may need to wait for few days to get the update on your Xiaomi Mi 9 Transparent/Explorer Edition.
