Xiaomi Mi 9 was introduced a couple of years back with Android 9.0 (Pie) based MIUI 10. Surprisingly, the phone went out of stock within 53 seconds at the first flash sale. It later got updated to Android 10 based MIUI 11 and then MIUI 12 the following year. Now, the Xiaomi Mi 9 is getting upgraded to Android 11 with MIUI 12.5 skin on top.
