If you recall, rumors regarding the Mi 6X started airing ever since an anonymous device popped-up on TENAA last month. The system file – “build.prop” found on the firmware revealed that the Mi 6X will, indeed, be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 Mobile Platform. Surprised? Not really as there were rumors regarding the Xiaomi ditching the MediaTek SoC for the Qualcomm’s Mobile Platform on Mi 6X. Xiaomi used to launch China exclusive devices with MediaTek Helio SoC’s, however, not this time anymore.
Other specs that are exposed are: The Mi 6X, as in most of the Mi devices flaunts an LCD display. Well, OLED lovers ought to be hard hit by this. Build values suggest that there will be no NFC present, but Xiaomi’s proprietary IR blaster is up. Thankfully, a microSD card slot for expandable storage is provided on the device. Whether it’s a dedicated or hybrid slot is unclear, though all the bets are for the latter.
The dual rear cameras will consist of the Sony IMX486 (12MP) sensor with f/1.8 aperture and the Sony IMX376 (20MP) sensor with f/1.8 aperture.
