Xiaomi’s new competitive smartphones in the mid-range price offerings are the latest Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite 5G also known as Mi 10i 5G in India or the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G.
Xiaomi had put the software update process on hold for all handsets due to the Chinese New Year. Prior to this occasion, Xiaomi had released the Android 11 MIUI 12.5 beta update in China for eligible devices. Now, after their festival, the Chinese brand has sparkled Android 11 update to Redmi 10X 4G and it is releasing a global stable update for Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G aka Mi 10T Lite 5G as well. However, the stable update does not bring MIUI 12.5, though it set forth new features sticking to MIUI 12. The new MIUI is expected to roll out after mid-year.

The update of stable MIUI version number 12.0.2.0 weighs around 2.5 GB and it brings January 2021 security patch along with enhanced system stability and system security. The users in China have started receiving the new software and are expected to roll out in India super soon.
Xiaomi Mi 10i 5G was launched this year on January 5 featuring a 6.67-inch screen with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It offers 128 GB + 6 GB RAM and 128 GB + 8 GB RAM storage variants which is expandable via microSD card slot. The phone powers Android 10, MIUI 12 paired with Qualcomm SM7225 Snapdragon 750G 5G chipset. Moving to the camera, it houses quad primary 108 MP wide + 8 MP ultrawide + 2 MP macro + 2 MP depth sensors along with a single 16 MP secondary lens.
