Recently, Xiaomi launched its FlipBuds Pro earbuds with three levels of ANC in its home country. After two weeks of the debut, the wearable is receiving its very first software update as announced by VP Chang Cheng, Xiaomi’s Vice President.
The new firmware bears version number 7.6.1.3. The fresh version brings a couple of features to the FlipBuds Pro. Firstly, it enhances the wear detection experience. Secondly, it now implements a finer notification sound. Moreover, the update also optimizes the notification sound effect.
Xiaomi Flipbuds Pro features a cylindrical design that weighs 6.5 grams. It ships with an in-ear design with three microphones that are light and easy to carry.
The main feature of the wearable is that it supports 40dB active noise cancellation. Moreover, as mentioned above, there are three levels of ANC: daily, office, and travel. The wearable will automatically select the mode depending on your environment.
Along with three ANC modes, it also equips three Microphones Call Noise Reduction with 11mm ultra dynamic sound drivers. It fuels Qualcomm’s QCC5151 ultra-low power audio chip, which processes external environmental sounds finely.
Concerning connectivity, FlipBuds Pro carries Bluetooth 5.2 with dual transparency mode. Additionally, you can also switch the buds between your phone and laptop with Dual Device Intelligent Connection. It delivers a low latency activity with aptX Adaptive Dynamic Codec Protocol technology.
Regarding the battery, the Xiaomi Flipbuds Pro offers 28 hours of backup in total with the charging case. Whereas with ANC activated, the life reduces to 22hrs. Xiaomi claims up to 7 hours of playback on a single charge without ANC and 5hrs with ANC.
