Summing up Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro!
Xiaomi 13 series would be one of the first devices to feature the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. It may also partner up with Leica as it did with Xiaomi 12S. A well-known tipster Digital Chat Station said it would have thinner bezels than its predecessor. It will continue to offer a curved display and a punch hole to the centre display. He adds that it will feature a QHD+ LTPO AMOLED display & will probably use Samsung’s E6 display. Xiaomi will use the COP packaging process, which will bend a part of the screen to achieve thinner bezels. It will continue to feature a 120Hz refresh rate panel.
Reports on the web suggest that it will feature a single cell battery supporting 100W fast wired and 50W wireless charging tech. It will sport a self-developed charging IC and Surge P1 chip. The P1 chip will help the device manage the battery more effectively. The smartphones would run on MIUI 13 based on Android 13 out of the box. The upcoming Xiaomi 13 series is also expected to update the optics department significantly. No other information about the device is available at the moment. We will update the article once more details are out on the web.
