After several rumours, leaks and certification approvals, the Xiaomi 13 is finally here with the new mighty Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. Both smartphones are launched in China with outstanding features and hardware to compete against the flagships of other OEMs.

Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro Price and Availability
Xiaomi 13 comes in three different storage configurations of 8/128GB, 8/256GB, 12/512GB and 12/512GB and prices CNY 3999, CNY 4299, CNY 4599 and CNY 4999, respectively. The smartphone is available in four different colour combinations of Black, Field Green, Far Mountain Blue and White colour. There are some limited edition custom colours too and those are Cement Gray, Jungle Green, Hurricane Yellow, Sapphire Blue and Flame Red colour options.
The Xiaomi 13 Pro is also available in four different storage options 8/128GB, 8/256GB, 12/256GB and 12/512GB storage variants, and is priced at CNY 4999, CNY 5399, CNY 5799 and CNY 6299, respectively. It is available in five different colours Tao Black, Ceramic White, Wilderness Green, and Far Mountain Blue colours.
The smartphones will be made available for purchase from December 14.
Xiaomi 13 Pro Specifications
Xiaomi 13 Pro comes with a 6.73-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1440 x 3200 pixels resolution, and support for HDR10+, Dolby Vision, HLG, and 1920 Hz DC dimming instead of PWM. The display colour temperature is adjusted with the ambient colour temperature sensor. However, it can reach a peak brightness of 1900 nits during HDR video playback, and normally maximum brightness revolves around 1200 nits.
It is woered wth Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC coupled with LPDDR5X memry and next-gen UFS 4.0 storage.
In the camera segment, the device coupled a triple-rear camera setup with a 50MP primary 1-inch Sony IMX989 sensor, a 50MP telephoto sensor with 3x zoom and Leica floating lens, and a 50MP ultrawide sensor.
There’s a 4820 mAh battery with a Xiaomi Surge G1 chip for safe 120W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. There’s also support for 10W reverse wireless charging. Other features include the presence of Dolby Atmos, IR Blaster, and IP68 dust and water protection.
Xiaomi 13 Specs and Features
Xiaomi 13’s display measures 6.36″ and offers 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, support for HDR10+, and HLG. The OLED panel offers a peak brightness of 1900 nits and usually cruises at a maximum brightness of 1200 nits.
The Xiaomi 13 packs a triple-camera module with a 50MP primary sensor, a 10MP telephoto lens with OIS, and a 12MP ultrawide sensor with autofocus support.
It packs a 4500mAh battery with 67W fast charging and 50W wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging. It even incorporates Dolby Atmos, IR Blaster and IP68 certification.
