Just after the Redmi Pad, and Xiaomi Band 7 Pro global launch, Xiaomi introduced the new Xiaomi 12T and Xiaomi 12T Pro at the global launch event. Here, Xiaomi 12T Pro is the first smartphone with a 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HP1 camera. The primary sensor size measures 1/1.22” with a 0.64µm pixel size that can go up to 1.28µm (4-in-1) or even 2.56µm (16-in-1) according to the surrounding or the user’s need. The device can record up to 8K video with HDR10+ quality.

Xiaomi 12T Pro Specifications
The Xiaomi 12T Pro comes with a triple-camera setup consisting of a 200 MP primary camera, 8MP ultrawide and a 2MP macro sensor. The front-facing camera will feature a 20MP sensor. The primary 200MP camera of the device grabs the attention as it comes with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) for longer exposures in the dark that will deliver stable images and videos. Features like eye-tracking and motion-tracking autofocus are part of the Xiaomi 12T Pro.
Now you must be wondering what about the telephoto lens. Unfortunately, there is no telephoto lens. Because of its impressive sensor, the onboard device will be able to do digital zoom 2X without quality loss.
The Xiaomi 12T Pro comes with a 6.67” AMOLED 12-bit display with a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support. The device will be able to switch between 30, 60, 90, and 120 Hz refresh rates. The phone will have a peak brightness of 700 nits along with Dolby Vision for better quality viewing. The in-display fingerprint sensor is present along with the Gorilla Glass 5 for protection.
The Xiaomi 12T Pro is powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset while carrying 8GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB UFS 3.1 storage. The maxed-out variant of the device will have 12 GB RAM and 256GB storage.
The device’s audio (Stereo speakers) is optimized by Harman Kardon, and also features Dolby Atmos support. The device runs MIUI 13 (Android 12).

Xiaomi 12T Pro features a massive 5,000mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging. And yes there will be a charger inside the box, and the Xiaomi 12T Pro will start retailing for £699 (~Rs 60455).

On the other hand, Xiaomi 12T houses a 108MP primary sensor measuring 1/1.67″ in size and f/1.7 aperture. Other cameras such as the 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor, a 2-megapixel macro sensor, and a 20-megapixel front-facing selfie camera remain the same.

It ships with MediaTek 8100 Ultra chipset built on a 5nm process with 30% improved efficiency than the predecessor. It is available in 8GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variants.
Xiaomi 12T smartphone comes with a 6.67-inch 1.5K 120Hz AMOLED display. It is priced at £499 in the UK which roughly translates to Rs 48,340.
