The Chinese tech giant is gearing up to unveil the Xiaomi 12T and Xiaomi 12T Pro on October 4th. Besides the lineup, the company is reportedly preparing another Mi 12 series model as well: the Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G NE. Ahead of any official announcement, the device has made an appearance on the FCC certification website. Let’s take a look at some key details revealed by the listing.
The upcoming Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G NE will sit over the Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE that was launched last year. As the name suggests, it will be a 5G-powered device. On the FCC portal, the upcoming phone bears the 2210129SG model number. Further, the listing sheds light on some key specs, including processor, storage options, connectivity, and more.
On the software front, the smartphone will run MIUI 13 out of the box. With this skin iteration, it is likely to come pre-installed with Android 12 OS. For connectivity, the device will have support for dual-band Wi-Fi support, Bluetooth, GNSS, and NFC onboard.
As far as storage configuration is considered, the Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G NE will arrive in up to 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal memory. Precisely, it will include three variants: 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, and 8GB + 128GB. Besides the aforementioned details, the FCC website does not divulge any other feature.
In addition to this, the same model was also spotted on Singapore’s IMDA certification database. Apart from confirming the device’s moniker and its 5G connectivity, the certification does not put forward more details.
