It’s not for the first time, that WhatsApp has gone down. It’s been a regular instance that takes place every quarter. This time also, WhatsApp is down in various regions globally. It is working for some users but most of them are unable to send or receive messages. Various users have reported on Twitter. Some users, businesses purely rely on WhatsApp, these frequent downtimes are giving users a pain. Many users have already started shifting to other competitor platforms. We hope the downtime won’t last for a big time.

Some users are looking towards twitter to verify the WhatsApp downtime. Though different social networks help to know the status of other major social services. Currently, no official statement has been given by WhatsApp authorities but it seems something wrong’s with their servers.
Update: After Downtime of around 15-20 minutes, WhatsApp is back to its sense. Users have started receiving the messages. It is now up and working in Europe, Asia, though in some regions it will take a few more minutes.Â
