Vivo introduced the Vivo Y75 a few months back. Now, the company has added one more device to extend the lineup: the Vivo Y75s 5G. The new handset is official in China as the latest mid-range offering. Here is a detailed look at the new Vivo Y-series smartphone.

The Vivo Y75s 5G is built around a 6.58-inch IPS LCD screen with a center-aligned water drop notch display. The panel offers a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2408 pixels, a 90.61 percent screen-to-body ratio, a 20.7:9 aspect ratio, a 1500:1 contrast ratio, a 60Hz refresh rate, and a 120Hz touch sampling rate.
Under the hood, the latest 5G-powered device equips Mediatek Dimensity 700 SoC. The chipset is paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Also, the microSD card slot onboard allows the user to expand the memory. On the software front, the phone runs Android 11 along with a layer of OriginOS Ocean UI on top.
For optics, Vivo Y75s 5G houses an 8MP lens at the front to serve selfies and video calls. On the other side, there’s a triple camera island led by a 64MP primary sensor. Accompanying this is an 8MP ultra-wide unit and a 2MP macro snapper. In addition, the device supports a face unlock feature and a side-facing fingerprint scanner for security.
Moreover, the company ships the device with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W charging. The other notable features include a USB Type C port, Speaker Boost 3.0, dual SIM support, 5G, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The Vivo Y75s 5G costs ¥1,899 for its base 8GB/ 256GB storage, while the higher 12GB/ 256 GB variant is priced at ¥2,199. Lastly, it retails in Iris and Starry Night color options.
