Vivo has introduced a new Y-series smartphone: Vivo Y72t 5G. The device is official in China, while the company is yet to provide the availability details for the global market. Let’s take a closer look at the Vivo Y72t 5G’s specifications, features, price, and other details.

Vivo Y72t flaunts a waterdrop notch at the top of a 6.58-inch Full HD+ LCD screen. The panel offers a 60Hz refresh rate, a 1080 x 2400 pixel resolution, a 401ppi pixel density, and a 20:9 aspect ratio. It measures 163.87 x 75.33 x 9.17mm in dimensions and weighs 200 grams.
Underneath, an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor powers the Vivo Y72t. The chipset is paired with Mali G57 GPU and up to 256GB of storage and 8GB RAM. Unfortunately, the phone offers the old Android 11 out of the box along with OriginOS 1.0 on top.
The Vivo Y72t houses an 8MP front-facing unit for selfies and video chats for optics. On the rear side, there’s a dual-camera module consisting of a 50 MP primary lens and a 2MP macro sensor.
