Vivo Y52t 5G debuts in China with Dimensity 700 SoC for ¥1,299

Vivo is continuously expanding its Y-series range of smartphones in multiple markets. The latest Vivo Y52t 5G is official in China, while we expect it to debut in other regions as well. It is an upgraded version of the Vivo Y52 launched last year. Like other Y-series devices, it is a budget offering. Here is a detailed look at the specifications, price, features, and other details of the new Vivo phone.

As for specifications, the Vivo Y52t 5G features a 6.56-inch IPS LCD screen with a water drop notch cutout. The panel offers an HD+ resolution, a standard 60Hz refresh rate, and 600 nits of peak brightness.

Under the hood, the phone draws power from an oca core processor based on MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC. The chipset is paired with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. Also, the storage can be extended up to 1TB via a microSD card slot. For software, it runs Android 12-based OriginOS out of the box.

In terms of the camera, the Vivo Y52t 5G carries a dual-camera setup on the back alongside an LED flash. The module consists of a 13MP primary unit and a 2MP secondary sensor. On the other side, there’s an 8MP lens to serve selfies and video calls.

In addition, the company ships the device with a 5000 mAh battery that supports 10W charging. The other specs include a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, dual-SIM (nano), 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, etc.

Price and Availability

Vivo Y52t 5G retails in three color options – Ice Lake Blue, Coconut Peach, and Black. The device is up to hold via the official Vivo China store and other online retailers. The pricing starts at ¥1,299 for its base 8GB/ 128GB model. On the other hand, the other 8GB/ 26GB version is worth ¥1,499.
