Vivo has added one more budget offering in its Y-series of smartphones. The Vivo Y21G is official in India. The device is packed with all the specifications we’d expect from an entry-level smartphone. Here is what the device has stored for us.
The Vivo Y21G is built around a 6.51-inch IPS LCD screen featuring a waterdrop notch at the center. The panel offers an HD+ resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio. A 5,000 mAh power cell keeps the screen alive with 18W fast charging support over a USB Type-C port.
Under the hood, a MediaTek MT6769 processor powers the Vivo Y21G. The phone is available in a single 64GB/ 4GB RAM storage option. Also, you can expand the RAM up to 1GB with the Virtual RAM technology. For software, the phone boosts the latest Android 12 out of the box with a layer of FunTouchOS 12 on top.
For optics, the Vivo Y21G houses an 8 MP front-facing camera. The rear panel carries a 13 MP primary sensor alongside a 2 MP macro lens and an LED flash. The camera has support for HDR, Super Macro, and Personalized Portrait Mode.
To serve the security, the phone is equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The other specifications include dual SIM support, Bluetooth 5.0, WiFi, a microSD card slot, and more.
The Vivo Y21G costs ₹13,990 for its sole 64 GB/ 4 GB RAM variant. You can purchase the device via Vivo’s official store and all major retail stores across the country in Midnight Blue and Diamond Glow color options.
