As per the reports, Vivo Y11 is receiving the Android 11 based Funtouch OS 11 update in India. The smartphone came into the market in December 2019 with Android 9 on board, subsequently receiving the Android 10 update. After delivering two major OS updates for their smartphone, this is the last major update that Vivo Y11 will receive.

The news of the latest update for Vivo Y11 came to the surface when some users posted tweets about it in India. Although, Vivo has not made any official announcements regarding the update yet. The users are reporting bugs including Wi-Fi disconnection, slow performance, colour saturation issues in the display, and more in the new update. We expect Vivo to fix these user-reported issues soon, till then they should keep from updating their devices.
Vivo Y11 update
The new update brings Android 11 features including the chat bubbles, one-time permissions, and AOD (always on display). It carries the firmware version rev 6.8.25 and has a package size of 2.9GB. A strong Wi-Fi connection and phone on charge is advisable to install the update on your device. Moreover, there is no information on any security patch that may come along with the new update.
Vivo Y11 features a 6.35-inch HD+ (720×1544 pixels) LCD screen with a water-drop style notch and equips a 5,000mAh battery. It is powered by Snapdragon 439 SoC paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of external storage. The smartphone has a dual rear camera setup with a 13MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor. The front camera for selfies has an 8MP sensor.
