Vivo is planning to introduce two new Y-series smartphones: Vivo Y02s and Vivo Y16. However, as always, the company did not confirm it yet. Ahead of any official announcement, the smartphones have made an appearance on the FCC certifications website. The listing reveals some key specifications and moniker of the devices.
According to the FCC portal, the Vivo Y02s and Vivo Y16 will bear the model numbers V2203 and V2204, respectively. In addition, the database confirms some other details as well, including connectivity options onboard, storage variants, and camera capacity.
For connectivity, both smartphones will come with dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth, and dual SIM support. Also, they will offer GPRS, EGPRS, WCDMA, LTE, and VoLTE networks.
In addition, the Vivo Y02s will offer a minimum of 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. We can expect another 4GB RAM variant as well. For optics, the phone will carry an 8MP primary camera. On the other hand, the Vivo Y16 will have 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage at least. This model will house a 13MP camera on the rear side.
Unfortunately, this is all we can collect from the FCC website. The other details like display, processor, camera, battery, and more are still under cover. Although based on the divulged specifications, both Vivo Y02s and Vivo Y16 will be a mid-range offerings. Now that the handsets have started emerging online, more details are likely to be out soon.
