A fresh new report regarding the upcoming Vivo X20A (thin-bezel phone) has surfaced online. The handset has now been spotted on popular benchmarking website Geekbench. Now, we’ve already heard that the device is set to be revealed on September 21.
Looking at the benchmarks, we find the new device to be a premium midrange. At its heart lies the new Snapdragon 660 SoC with eight Kryo 260 CPUs with a maximum frequency of 2.2GHz and the Adreno 512 GPU.
The benchmark also makes it clear that there will be 4 GB of RAM on this particular model. We say “this model” because there are other 2 alleged models with 6 GB of RAM. What is not a surprise is the Android 7.1.1 Nougat with Funtouch OS on board the new hardware.
The Vivo X20A has already been shown the ropes at TENAA. What we make up of the info at TENAA leads us to say that it will be a 5.2-inch screen bearing handset with HD resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio.
However, this info contradicts the latest leak from Evan Blass that states a 6.1-inch screen. Also, additional info regarding the camera says 12/5MP dual rear + 12MP front camera is endowed to the mid-range handset. Â At the moment, we are not sure about the screen size of the device. But come September 21 and we will be ready to tell you.
