Vivo is launching its V5 Plus Limited Edition on the eve of Indian Premier League 10th year. The phone has nothing new other than its visual design i.e. phone is all black with a gold 10 year IPL stamp and gold-accented vivo logo on the back. Vivo V5 Plus Limited Editon IPL smartphone will go on sale on April 10th through Flipkart and Vivo’s retail shops. Although the price is not disclosed yet.
Vivo V5 comes with 5.5 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display. It has a display resolution of 1,080 x 1,920 pixels at a pixel density of 401 ppi. It measures 153.8 x 75.5 x 7.6 mm (6.06 x 2.97 x 0.30 in) and weight 154 g (5.43 oz). The display protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 and uses skin FunTouch OS 2.6.
The Vivo V5 runs on Android OS, v6.0 (Marshmallow). Under the hood, the smartphone carries a pair of quad-core processors, Cortex A72 and Cortex A53 each. This processor is placed on a chipset of Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 MSM8976 and 4GB RAM, which in turns assists the processor to clock speeds of 1.8GHz and 1.4GHz respectively. The phone packs 32 GB of internal storage that can be expandable up to 256 GB via MicroSD card.
