Verizon finally starts rolling out Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update to Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge. The update will arrive as software version VRU4CPC2 for each phone, along with Android build MMB29K.

Update will include all the core Android marshmallow features like Doze power management, Google Now on Tap contextual search, and greater control to grant and deny app permissions. This update also includes the latest Android Security patch which means it will have march security patch.

As the update is just started and company also says that it will reach users gradually. Although you can always try to manually download the update via a tap (or many) of the software update button under Settings > About device.
