Verizon LG G4 And LG V10 Starts Receiving Latest Security Patch

Good news for Verizon LG G4 and V10 users as Verizon started rolling out OTA (over the air) update for the devices. The update brings latest security patch for the devices.

The new software version for Verizon LG G4 is VS9862BA (earlier it was VS9862AA); for V10 it is VS99028A (earlier it was VS99027A). Both the devices run on Android Marshmallow OS, however company confirmed that LG V10 will get Android Nougat treatment in the future.

We will recommend you to charge you device fully before updating. Also connect with good Wi-Fi and don’t forget to take backup of your important data before you proceed. If you haven’t received the update yet, you can check for it manually. To check software update, go to Settings -> About -> Software Updates.
