Verizon has just started rolling out a firmware update with July security patch for the Galaxy Note 5 and S6 Edge+. The update is being pushed with build number N920VVRU3CQF3 for the Galaxy Note 5. On the other hand, Galaxy S6 Edge+ is receiving the update with build number G928VVRU3CQF3. The update installs latest security patches, resolves bug fixes and optimizes performance on both the devices.
This update brings few enhancements which include improved Voice over Wi-Fi calls, adding Google search app in Easy Mode, and notification for no app space on the home screen.
Verizon is rolling out the update as OTA and will soon be available on your device, if not already. In the meantime, you may head to Settings > About device > System Updates to check for the update manually.
As always, we would like to remind you that before you start downloading the update, make sure that your device is left with sufficient charge. For the update to seamlessly install on your device, we would advise you to connect your device to a stable Wi-Fi.
