Recently, the Verizon-based Galaxy S10 Family and other devices have received the February 2021 Security Patch update. Now, the Motorola Moto E6 becomes the latest device to join the list. The update bears the PCBS29.73-81-18-7 firmware version, and already many users have started experiencing it.

As per the changelog, apart from the Security patch, there’s nothing new in the update. So, usually, the security patches incorporate bug fixes, enhancements, improvements, and others. This update is only meant to enhance the smartphone’s stability and increase the security patch level.
The company is sending the updates in a staged manner. So, users need to wait for a few days to experience the update. Meanwhile, you can head over to Settings>Software updates>Check for updates to check the update status manually. Also, make sure to switch over to a WiFi network before updating to avoid carries data charges.

In the Q2 of 2019, Motorola has officially launched the Moto E6 with a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display (720 x 1440 pixels) and Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 (28 nm) Chipset. It comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. In-camera, there’s a 13-MP single rear camera and a 5-MP front-facing camera. The device runs Android 9.0 (Pie) out of the box and packs a 3,000 mAh battery.
