While the month of July is drawing to a close, several Android devices have been updated with July security patch. However, there remains a lot of devices still deprived of the latest update. There is some good news coming up or Verizon-based Moto G Power, Moto G Stylus, Galaxy A50, and LG Stylo 5 users as the carrier is pushing July security patch to these devices.

For Moto G Power and Moto G Stylus, the update arrives with software version QPMS30.80-58-1-5 and QPRS30.80-58-1-5 respectively. These updates are meant to enhance the security of your devices against threats and vulnerabilities that may compromise your security. It is to note that these updates do not bring any major changes or improvements to the smartphones.
Samsung Galaxy A50 also receives the July security update that comes with firmware version QP1A.190711.020.A505USQU7BTG1 and applies most up to date Android security patch along with performance improvement.
Verizon is pushing July security update to LG Stylo 5 as well, that upgrades security of your device, address bugs, and optimizes device performance. LG Stylo 5 gets this latest update with version Q720VS10h.
It is to note that Verizon will be rolling out these updates in batches scheduled to be fulfilled in the next few days. If you own any of the above-listed devices, you should receive the system update notification shortly. If not, you are advised to manually lookout for the update by tapping Settings > Software Update.
Before you choose to download and install the update, ensure that your device is sufficiently charged or plugged to a power source. Also, if you are on a limited data plan, we suggest connecting your device to a reliable WiFi for seamless download.
