The LG G Watch began shipping along with the Samsung Gear Live not a long time ago and some users are already facing problems with the Android Wear based smartwatch.
According to some users, the LG G Watch is wearing away and the charging contacts are the main problem. Some users are reporting that the charging contacts underneath the Android wear based G Watch are corroding, causing problems in charging the device. The contacts, when scrapped were once again able to work and the smartwatch was being charged as usual. Some users even reported that wearing the G watch was causing some sort of allergic reaction on their skin forcing them to ditch the smartwatch.
LG came clean on this one and claimed that no substances which could possibly cause allergy to the human skin were used on the G Watch.
The G Watch is already facing tough competition from the Samsung Gear Live and there’s another contender waiting to be released, the Moto 360. If LG wants the G Watch to be successful, they better solve this issue very soon.
