Samsung Galaxy A2 Core Updates Tracker
- [July 15th, 2021]: Samsung has started rolling out the current security maintenance, July 2021 to the Galaxy A2 Core. Presently, the update is unfurling in India via the firmware version A260GDDSBAUF1. While the units in other regions will also get similar treatment soon. This is a minor bump in safety level and does not add any new additions. Though, the patch fixes almost 20 privacy and security-related risks along with the much-reported Android Auto bug.
As the update is rolling out in phases, it may take some time to reach all the units. Meanwhile, you can head to Settings > Software updates > Security updates to check the update manually. Also, we suggest you switch over to a WiFi network before downloading the update to avoid data charges.
