[Update: Android 14 Based One UI 6.0 Update] Samsung Galaxy M13 Updates Tracker
In May 2022, Samsung unveiled a budget smartphone to the M series named Galaxy M13. The smartphone ran on Android 12 out of the box on top of One UI Core 4.1. It features a 6.6-inches LCD with an FHD+ resolution. Underneath, the Galaxy M13 sports the Exynos 850 chipset. The chipset pairs with 4GB of RAM and 64/128GB of storage. On the optics side, it features a triple-rear camera setup comprising a primary 50MP sensor and two 5MP depth & macro sensors. On the front, it gets an 8MP sensor that sits inside the waterdrop notch. All this is backed by a 5000 mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging tech.

[January 24, 2023]: Samsung Galaxy M13 4G starts receiving Android 14 based One UI 6.0 update. Samsung plants the new software on the LTE model (SM-M135F) with the M135FXXU4DXA1 firmware version. The update is in a rolling phase and currently seeding in Europe.
[April 05, 2023]: The update goes live on the Galaxy M13 4G with M135FXXU2CWB4 available in European Union and Taiwan. It will be released to other regions in the coming days. The duo picks up the new software with February 2023 security patch along with several new features.
[March 24, 2023]: The Galaxy M13 5G has finally started receiving the One UI 5.1 update. The new update is now live in India. The One UI 5.1 update for the Galaxy M13 5G comes with firmware version M136BXXU2CWB3. It also brings the February 2023 security patch that fixes dozens of security vulnerabilities.
[December 19, 2022]: Samsung is rolling out a new update for the Galaxy M13 smartphone. The update brings Android 13 on top of OneUI 5.0 to the device. It is live in Europe and comes with the firmware version M135FXXU1BVL2. The update also brings the November 2022 security patch to the device.
The update is rolling out phase-wise, and it may take some time to reach all the units of Galaxy M13. The users can head to Settings > Software updates > Security updates to check the update manually. Ensure that there is enough storage space and battery backup on your device. Also, connect to a WiFi network before updating the smartphone.
