After selling out their smartphones like hot cakes in many countries, Xiaomi now seems to be focusing on the tablet market. Xiaomi, which until now had just the 7.9″ MiPad in the tablet segment is reportedly working on a new 9.2″ low-end yet unnamed tablet, the specs list for which has surfaced through GFX Benchmark.
As you can see above, the tablet won’t be a top of the line device but Xiaomi is now well known for delivering devices at less than reasonable prices. This one sports a screen with a resolution of 1280 X 720 pixels. Under the hood lies a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chipset paired with a quad-core CPU clocked at 1.2 GHz 1 GB RAM and an Adreno 306 GPU. 8 GB will be made available as the internal memory with no mention of an external microSD card slot.
Other features like camera too remain unknown. The device runs on Android Kitkat 4.4.4 and you can expect Xiaomi’s MIUI 6 to be applied over it.
