Samsung is the first mobile company to push the June 2020 Security patch update on the first day of the month. The unlocked version of the Samsung Galaxy S20 series (US) starts getting June 2020 security patch. Recently, Samsung has rolled out the May 2020 security update for Galaxy A50s and Unlocked Galaxy S9/S9+(US). The features of the update are not mentioned in the release note but you can experience them while using your mobile.
The new update adds call quality improvements along with June 2020 security patch, bug fixes, enhanced features, and fixes for all the prominent security loopholes. It comes with the G986U1UES1ATE4, G986U1OYM1ATE4 firmware versions for their respective smartphones. Coming to the size, the update weighs about 216.70 MB in size.
The new update is currently live only in the US and many users also started getting it. As the update is rolling out in batches, a set of random users will start getting the update now, and after the successful verification of the update, all the users will start receiving it within a few days.
To check the update manually, navigate to the Settings> Software updates> Check for Updates. If the update is available then download it for a better experience. Otherwise, wait until you get the update.
