Verizon will now be offering the HTC One M8 in 2 new colors, namely the Glamour Red and the Amber Gold. Out of these, the Amber Red version will be available only through Verizon while the Gold version is also available through HTC. The sales for these 2 variants begin on 5th June.
The telecommunications giant is currently offering the device is two colors: Gunmetal Grey and Glacial Silver. This announcement also suggests Verizon will be slashing the prices for its new colored models but the One M8 is already available for $100 on contract via Verizon and also on Amazon. The Amber Gold variant was made available via HTC for a short period of time for $100 but is now back with a price tag of $200 and a $100 gift card.
The Glamour Red was the first red model on the HTC One M8 to be made available in the U.S. And don’t be shocked if rival companies come back at Verizon with the Aqua-blue variant of the smartphone which is currently available only in the U.K. If you’re planning to buy the Amber Gold variant, you should wait for some time after which you’d probably get it at $100.
