Twitter, through its official blog happily announced; We are excited to announce we’re expanding the Twitter Lite to 21 more countries including Argentina, Belarus, Dominican Republic, Ghana, Guatemala, Honduras, India, Indonesia, Jordan, Kenya, Lebanon, Morocco, Nicaragua, Paraguay, Romania, Turkey, Uganda, Ukraine, Uruguay, Yemen, and Zimbabwe. Now, Twitter Lite will be available in the Google Play Store in more than 45 countries.
In case if you don’t know, the Twitter Lite was released only in 24 countries initially. However, the users in other countries were, in deed, able to make use of it by sideloading the APK from third party app stores. The trimmed app proved to address many issues that a normal users experienced while using the standard Twitter app or through browsers. Such as slow mobile networks, expensive data plans, or lack of space on mobile devices.
