Android 10, the latest iteration of the beloved Android OS is slowly making its way to more and more existing Android devices out there. While it’s no secret, some of the OEMs are sluggish when it comes to pushing a major update to their eligible devices and Sony is no different. Nonetheless, to elevate the enthusiasm level of all the Sony device users who’ve been waiting for a proper announcement from the company regarding the Android 10, the Japanese firm has now revealed the list of devices entitled to get the Android 10 update soon.
As per the roadmap, the Xperia 1 and the recently announced Xperia 5 will be among the first to receive the Android 10, which is planned to be available this December. Other devices such as Xperia 10, 10 Plus, XZ2, XZ2 Compact, XZ2 Premium and XZ3 are in the queue as well. These devices are expected to get the upgrade one by one from early 2020 onwards. To sum it up, here are the devices slated to receive the update soon from Sony.

Sony hasn’t released not so many devices for the past few years owing to the intense competition. Despite being out of form in the mobile business so far, it’s good to see Sony adamant in giving better support for its released devices. As it’s obvious the Android 10 on Sony devices should comes with custom skin branded as Xperia UI. We’ve to wait and see what all new features Sony has baked in its UI.
